'Capping' Monday 5 December 2011

Below are the players who will be 'Capped' tomorrow night.

Those wishing to purchase clothing, this will be on sale from 6pm. There is NO Eftpos available so either cash or cheques please. Capping will get under way at 7pm so please do not be late. ALL those being capped to attend.

Dress for capping is in your full whites. If you have played for NH before wear your NH shirt. If not either a plain white or your school playing shirt. Please no jandals, slippers etc in your whites. Proper trainers please.

Venue: Takapuna Rugby Club - next door to Takapuna Cricket Club.

Fees: Your tournament fee of $90.00 will be collected from you tomorrow. Please bring this along. Cash or cheques made out to 'North Harbour Junior Cricket'.

Parking is always at a premiun so arrive early.

Non travelling reserves will not be capped. If you are needed through the tournament you will receive your cap then.

December 2011 - Intersquad Final Selection

Here are the team selections for Sunday at Devonport Domain.

09:00 for a 10:00 start - wickets 2 & 4.

This day will be dedicated to the memory of Gary Curtling who passed away this year. All players and coaches to wear black armbands in his honour please. I would like a squad photo beforehand and a minutes silence before we commence play.

Umpires and scorers are needed as well please. Possibly one umpire per game and the batting side doing 'square leg'.

Gazebos etc welcome as there is not much shade at the ground.

Sunday 27 December 2011 North Harbour v Manukau

The games for Sunday v Manukau District are to be played at Lloyd Elsmore Park, Pakuranga.

Start time is 10:00. Please be at the ground no later that 09:00.

Games are on grass. Bring alternate footwear in case of change.

Arrive in warm-up gear (if you have) and change into your whites there.

North Harbour shirts and caps to be worn. If you have not yet played for North Harbour, your school playing shirts (or plain white shirts) and school caps to be worn (NO random caps).

You must provide your own lunch and drinks for the day.

Dates to Diarise

Just an update on what is coming up over the next few weeks leading up to the Auckland Inter- District Tournament.

Sunday 27 November - 2 teams travel to Lloyd Elsmore Park to play Manukau District. Both games will be on grass. 10am start - arrive no later than 09:00. As always bring alternate footwear in case of pitches being changed to artificial due to rain. The teams for this game will be posted on Tuesday.

Sunday 4 December - all 4 teams to play. This is the final selection so it is important you are there. Venue to be advised.

For all Games - arrive in warm-up gear and change into your whites there.

Some of you will only get to play on 4 December because we only had one team go to Northland. Do not worry. If you are not playing this weekend you will be on the reserve list in case of injuries or illness.
Capping is booked at the Takapuna Rugby Clubrooms. Monday 5th December- U18 and Y9/10.

Dress code for this is in your whites.

Clothing will be on sale from 6pm. Helpers would be greatly received.

Cash and Cheques only.

Bar will be open and we should encourage a beer or two, to make it worth while for the Rugby Club to have us.

Tournament dates again are as follows.

13, 14, 15, 16 December & 19, 21, 21 December at Waikaraka Park, Onehunga.
An Auckland U 18 and U 16 team will be chosen from this tournament to play an inter provincial tournament in January.

North Harbour U18 v Northland, 6 November 2011

See below the team selected to travel to Whangarei to play Northland on 6 November.

Start time is 10:30. Please be at the ground no later than 09:30.

Venue: Kensington Park K1 - southern end of Kensington Park closest to the clubrooms.

Game on grass, however bring alternate footwear in case the weather forces a change.

Bring plenty to drink and your lunch.

Arrive in your warm up gear - do not forget your whites - North Harbour shirts & Caps to be worn.
